Oncology

Cancer patients are at risk of becoming malnourished, both as a consequence of their illness and its treatment. Malnutrition and related loss of weight and lean body mass negatively impact patient prognosis. For this reason, our aim is for medical nutrition to become an increasingly integral and relevant part of cancer care. At Danone Nutricia Research, we recognise that cancer patients have different nutritional needs at each stage of their illness. Our objective is to research and develop innovative medical nutrition that supports them along their journey.
