Growth & Metabolism

The nutrition we receive during early life lays the foundation for health in later life. Through our research, we seek to better understand how nutrition impacts growth, development and body composition in preterm and term infants, toddlers and mothers-to-be. We also examine the role of nutrition in the management of inborn errors of metabolism, where the body is unable to metabolise certain nutrients that are essential to life. We use these insights to develop nutritional products that will enable not only the best possible start in life but also help children fulfill their future potential.
